So I noticed we got a new tribe member today. Who is the new reedling? I see a name there but no way to connect. Any friend code that we can add?? Unfortunately, when a new member joins the tribe, it is not possible to contact them, unless we already know where to find them on the bigfish website. Okay, I'm not sure what to do. and would sure appreciate some input from other Tribal members.
It's Wednesday and we are at level 750 and 10 diamonds but can we realistically get to level 1000 and 15 diamonds as a Tribe? I don't want lower game level players stressed because they need their resources for upgrading but I'm not generating enough shards yet in my Firefly game to take my contribution past level 85, maybe 90 but it's a stretch. It's so expensive after 70 that leveling up, for me, drops to a snail's pace and I'm still trying to get all my Ethereals fed to level 15 and 100% Happiness. My Ethereal Island Castle is maxed out and can go no higher, so obviously max Happiness and Feeding is all I have left that I can do to improve my shard production and the decorations I have left to buy are expensive. In my Jdoodles game those extra shards would sure help in improving Happiness too. I've leveled the Castle all I can with shards and need gems now. Other lower level players may need those extra shards to not only level up their Castle but Happiness too. If we realistically can't get to 1000, I'd rather save those shards for improvements. If we stop trying to go any higher, once we hit 750, it would allow all Tribal members to use their resources to improve their main Islands. That benefits the member but also the future Tribe.
Soooo, what do fellow Tribal members think? At what point should we stop trying to get to the next level, if we aren't sure it's attainable yet? I see the 10 diamonds we are earning as a nice perk but I'm not sure if we can get to the next level and think it would be worth stopping at 750 and using those resources where they are really needed to help us get to the next level later without it stressing members.

walking-and-thinking-smiley-emoticon That's a very good question, but needs someone with a more analytical brain than mine to work it out. I've got as far as the fact that if every tribe member were able to participate we would only need 8 more levels each, which is fairly easy if you are still on level 1 but as you say a lot harder from level 75. At the moment I am still managing a couple of levels a day but don't think this will continue as the levels rise.
hrmm I think I will stockpile my shards for the time being and await further instructions s5811

Us on the lower levels do grow a little more each week, so we can manage a little bit more each week. And when we get monsters on ethereal islands, it will keep getting better. So even if we cannot manage more than 750 this week, or the n ext, we will still eventually make 1000. :) Just a little bit further every week, but when we see that we aren't gonna make it this week, better stockpile the shards until nex t week. I'm saving up shards right now because I need to level up my castle on ethereal, but I'll be back with a vengeance in a couple of days... or nex t week if that is the general message. :)
IF I was to gain as many levels as possible this week, I think I could still manage between 5-8 more, all in all, until Sunday. So if anyone wants to do the math with all members, it would be interesting. |

Great question, but more important how do you get a level commitment from one that will not join forum or respond to michou or moncsi email or PM?
They may be unaware that we are trying for 15 or 20 diamonds. If they were i'm sure they would level as high as they could. Even if you "did the math" would ALL commit?
Sorry i don't have the answer sweetie but i am greedy & would love 20 diamonds. s4135

Thanks for the input thus far! I agree with @1luvgaming that Tribal members not forum members is a variable we can not solve. I don't have them as Friends, so I've no idea their game level. I think for now, I'll save shards in both games to see where we stand later in the week, Saturday evening perhaps. That would give 3 full days to see what develops. I can now buy the last 3 items I need for 100% Happiness for all monsters on Ethereal in my Firefly game. Once those items are bought, I have no reason to save shards anymore as I have nothing left to use them on except Tribal. I always need shards as Jdoodle. That beast always needs shards and food. |
