I was trying to think of something that would be fair for all tribe members, and I would like to know what you guys think of this. How about we give each member 2 whole weeks (in case they're on a 2-week vacation), and if they still haven't leveled up at the beginning of the third week, then they get released from the island. It would mean that every Sunday, I would take note of who is still at level one slap-penguin-smiley-emoticon .
The members from this forum are an exception, they will stay even if they are temporarily unable to level up flowers-smiley-emoticon .

I thought that sooner or later we might have to visit this topic. Unfortunately, these F2P games with the Friend social aspect come with people who aren't really friends but Friend Collectors. They collect to get but they don't reciprocate by giving. I agree something needs to be decided because it demoralizes those contributing, while watching those not contributing being rewarded from other people's hard work, resources and money. So, if we are going to participate in Tribal, I think we need to have a standard too so it doesn't become a squabble later on and feelings get hurt. I'm not sure it this important but maybe a disclaimer to possible new members that we are a bit of a newbie Tribe right now with players that began games right before Tribal was launched that need time to level up their main games. I knew that going in and was fine with it but some may not want to be on a Tribe in that position. It may be why we lost some of our heavy contributors. They may have felt they were being taken advantage of when the reality was that many are giving as much as they can spare considering their game level.
Overall, I'd really hate to lose my delight in the game over Tribal. I'd rather drop that aspect from my game than lose the camaraderie here.

Nobody is loosing anybody here...lol. For a full game ALL islands have to be taken care of, fitting in our capacity. Tribal island is just an other island we need to develop - the diference is, that we need to develop it together. Real tribes have their leaders, workers, and children. There is the chief, who knows everything, there are the top hunters, and there are the children who need to be taken care of until they grow up. In real tribes they don't push out children just because they are lazy, lol, but they definitely try to make them to learn.
I've already expressed my feelings toward this: I love our island, I love that we are connected in the game a little bit more - I'm suspicious with "strangers", though, don't belong - if they don't even try to belong, they need to go.
I think, the player named "CCC...." is our beloved Bettamom, seems just started the game, but i know she has a problem to navigate this forum, although she has signed up here, she doesn't make posts. I've invited her to our island - one more old-timer PC player!
I have no problem to level until I can - I don't need the shards for anything else, besides to pretty up the the island. In this regard i spend ALL of my shards on leveling my Tribal monstie, and I will keep doing that - fortunately we have a good few of "adoptees" who are really "top hunters", too - god bless their souls.
I do agree with plucking the "collectors" time by time... I would do that after one week with the newcomers... like the recently added furcorn - show effort or travel somewhere else. As for the existing tribe members right now - they all contributing on their level - well, Sandy is missing out - but I'm sure she will return to make up for it. We have to watch the newbies! EVERYBODY can pop up to level 2.
Maybe we could get back 1luv? Well if she wants to come back... smiley-hug008

 Ohhh yes I want to come back, I made an awful mistake deleting my toe jammer but I was too  to confess it once I realized I only have 95 diamonds, lev 19, & I need those diamonds to level my castles when I reach lev 21. We get 8 diamonds almost every time, I surely need those. I don't have ethereals or Shugas yet but I have 52000 in food, I think that will take jammer to lev 2 or 3. two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon I haven't leveled Pom yet even though I can... because.... well.... Let's just say I misunderstood why some were not level 2 at least. wtf OK... OK.... if you insist.... I was pissed.... Once again moncsi gave me a new perspective. Thanks for your positive forgiving spirit moncsi. :)) I will now level my pom & make a formal request that michou3 allow me to fill the first opening with my jammer. agree3

I'm still trying to figure out this site and the BlueStacks version of MSM, but I believe I'm answering this thread properly and I believe that I'm on the Tribal Island properly...with a Potbelly. Always tell me if I'm not. ;)
I'm just starting my Plant Island, so I don't have much, but I think I can contribute one diamond each day and, hopefully, coins, too. Right now I'm hoarding food as I haven't leveled up all my monsters yet.
Until I signed up for BlueStacks, I'd never heard of Tribal Island...is it (in a way) like Gold Island where you only have monsters on it?
The person who started this particular Tribal Island has control over where each monster is placed or is each monster placed automatically in the order of the next member joining?

hi Dani. tribal is just monsters and the tribal chief sets them where ever he wants. the only thing we do is feed them to level them up. the higher our total level the greater our reward. i found that for me it is cheaper to use food to level up. i have 1 of each except the etheral for plant plus 2 rares leveled up to 6 or 7 and they produced 800,000 coins in less than 15 hrs. plus i was baking (which was not part of the 800,00). the first couple of weeks i used diamond to help level.

forgot to tell you we start leveling tribal monsters each monday. we get our reward that day as well which is diamonds and star power. don't know what star power is for yet.also i think this is the 1st week i leveled above my usual 4. it goes slow but at least we have lots of goodies to play with now.

Hi guys don't forget we pick the SM we want to be on Tribal.
If you ever want to change SM on tribal just PM our chief michou3 your choice & she will place it. Then just feed as often as you can... I am high as i can go this time with pompom & toejammer, i only feed food on "luvgameing", no shards yet. I only feed shards on "Dee" but have to wait for harvest time about 2 days, they produce sooo slow. :-S

We would need 30 levels to break our own record and earn 10 diamonds in this round... I still can level about 2 more levels, I just kicked Eskimo's tush to take care about his thumpies - he spent all of his coin reserve and food reserve for leveling...
There are players leveling to 80 - Special thanks to Ellabella and Firefly - if any of you could squeeze in a level up, please do it so, we still have more than a day to grab 2 extra diamonds for it...
I spend ALL of my shards on tribal leveling, my monsters on ethereal are between level 8-9 - I cannot afford to feed them higher just yet. My experience is that the 1E ethereal monsties are making shards much faster than the 2Es - go figure, lol

Ok, this tribal thing has me confused. I've read all the above and I think more in another post...still learning this site..."they" judge us on Mondays...then I lose all my progress and start over? P.S. When I click "View All Smiley" my button is cut-off, but I think it says "View All Smileys", I cannot read the chat boxes on the icons...plus, some (and others) are so small I cannot tell what they are doing. But I love smileys! LOL  (I actually went bike riding today and looked a lot like this, I'm sure!) |
