I learnt an interesting fact this evening regarding the tribe list, I had wondered about the order members were in as I couldn't quite work it out but somebody else obviously has (or found it on the wiki somewhere) That IS interesting!  |

If that's really the case, then our newest riff (JnLtown) is the player with the oldest game on my tribal list since he's listed in first place above all of you. Unless he's one of Eboney's games, for someone who's been playing longer than the rest of us, I'm kind of surprised that he's only given 10 levels this week. Of course, he may just have extremely bad luck in breeding ethereals, which is another story altogether.

Yeah, I was wondering how people were feeling about him. Do you feel like he is trying? And at the top of the list lv. 10 is surprising. I would be happy as the Riff too ;)

Since tribal island has been a bone of contention and is the bane of our existence where discussion is concerned, I'll take the heat for bringing it up. Are we (jazzywine and I) the only ones who've noticed this since we've learned where we all are in our games? Except for one or two people, almost everyone else has at least double the amount of donated levels. And that includes the last page of the tribal list.

mischievous-grin-smiley-emoticon I was trying to stay away from tribal discussions but this is interesting as you would assume he should be able to level much higher. Does anyone have him on their friends list so we can peep at his islands?
walking-and-thinking-smiley-emoticon Maybe he started the game a long time ago and has only just come back to it but there is no way of knowing how developed his islands are without the friend code.

if that is true then pendy started playing wayyyyyy B4 i did with both games. and those behind me that are leveling higher than i CAN started after i did. doesn't make sense to me that it works that way. i normally gather shards 2-3 times a day or more even if not ready.

yet they keep asking about how people are leveling. with stat board wouldn't have to ask or wonder. would do it my self but don't know how to get spread sheet and fill it so it stays. but not really worrying about it. i will just stop at 50 and let others worry about it. we were asked about suggestions but that is 1 as you say is unpopular but needed and ignored.

I can resume posting the charts. I just thought, that since we have reached the max, and we are reaching it still, we don't need it anymore.
To tell you the truth, it upset me anno, that the chart was used to pick on others. Its original purpose was to see when we can advance to the next reward level, if we are enough strong, if we can squeeze it further, and how to spread the burden of carrying the "little" ones more equally - and not to monitor what others do. So, as soon as it got clear that we CAN reach the final reward level regularly, I stopped posting it, because it helped to spread unnecessary emotions - not good ones - among each other. (Firefly left our community because of it).
That's is why I have asked the question in tribal discussion: What is our goal with tribal island? If it is still merely reach the max, the chart has no real purpose, since we did that. If we are setting new goals, like reach level 2,000, then it makes sense to see how we can do that, who can do more - TOGETHER. Our new goal can be to somewhat "equalize" the burden of the stronger players - what I see now, that people are leveling all over the place, then complaining about carrying the OTHERS. Not cool. We could organize, like we did before, the more equal leveling, then after everybody could level further by their OWN good will - then there is no place for complaining who DIDN'T level further!!!
So, this week I will resume the charts, and we will see what happens. happy-pillow-fight-games-smiley-emoticon

Personally I don't need the chart. I feel comfortable enough with being a tribal leader to watch and see who is truly interested in growing with our tribe and who is just trying to take advantage. I think that we should each level where we are comfortable. We need to stop stressing. It's All good (from the Pete the cat books). I think we are at a spot in the tribe where we are going to hit that 1500. Especially since our 2 new members are totally awesome and gave leveled to 50 this week :). I think we need to make sure we have fun with the game and focus on lifting people up and encouraging others. I love the tribe and forum. All of you guys. I want to make sure that we don't alienate others. I'd hate for anyone to leave. I feel do bad that firefly left. I would really like her to join again :) I don't want history to repeat itself.

I did not feel like tribal island was any fun after the chart came out. It stresses me out trying to get enough shards on ethereal island. I have another ghazt at level 14, but cannot afford to feed it as I am saving for 2 more things on Plant Island. I just do not have enough coins for MY game and to please the members of the tribe. Yes, I want the benefits, but am struggling to keep up...AND I WANT TO KEEP UP...I just didn't know that I would have to keep up so quickly as most everyone knew I was a new member to MSM. I'm getting there...and want to get there...but these charts and pols just make me feel more inadequate than I already feel about myself. The only other option I can see is to quit coming to this site and then I wouldn't feel this way. Well, I guess I should take my own advice instead of griping about it, huh?
