 I know what you mean, I'm starting to be distracted by other things (tap dancing men today) whereas last weekend and most of the week I have had trouble tearing myself away from it, everything is just taking too long at the moment, but I think MSM was a bit like this once you started to get higher level monsters. |

I concentrate everything on just one monster order at a time, and don't keep anything in the vault that doesn't apply to this order. (Except the blasted crystals.) I also consequently send 3-element monsters into the mine, so I KNOW that I get what I need every time. I know you are on a higher level than me and thus have more complex orders than I'm getting so far, but keep your head cool and block all the other monsters out while you're filling that specific order you're concentrating on.
Also, very important, don't stress! Don't expect to fill the order in one day. The juggling of space in your shed may require you to concentrate on just ONE item on the food list at a time, because you don't have space to collect for them all at once. Take the time you need and don't rush! You can make it! :) s7926 |

Thank You moncsi. Level 14?  Good grief that is a long time to upgrade the Vault. I need that space now at level 11. Even crafting to decorate is a pain. The needed items to craft must be saved up in the Vault too. I didn't mind that MSM 1 was a patience and time thing but a game should be some fun, not frustrating. While our Storage building there has a max for holding decorations, we weren't handcuffed with earning and storing food, coins, shards or gems; only the number of monsters allowed in the Castle. Given time, if you could get a few 3 or 4 element monsters fed, even to 4, you could start saving resources for the next steps. I agree about the unlimited Vault or even the opportunity of buying and placing more Vaults at certain levels. I don't have the time to play the game like it needs either. I don't know gals. My initial excitement is dying. I'll give it the usual 2 week trial to be fair but if what frustrates me now stays the same or just gets worse, I probably won't stick with it. Given a choice between DoF or The Simpsons: Tapped Out. I'll be sticking with the later. I downloaded Simpsons, it's an older F2P game, the week before DoF. I'm still learning my way around but I'm finding it's a better fit for me. |

 lol firefly, that definitely is a flowah with attitude, she reminds me of a scary girl from my school days, That was a long time ago but if I'm back in my hometown I still wouldn't want to bump into her.  I've been enjoying the game more today, just popped into it a couple of times, taking it more slowly instead of getting frustrated. |

It certainly is Lil Bee and always with a scowl. LOL I'm actually taking Annatar's advice and concentrating everything on one monster order at a time. Even 2 monster's orders were driving me nuts. I'm afraid I've adopted I'm playing it but really don't care attitude. Not sure if that is good or bad though.  |

 Yay, only 9 hours and I will be able to upgrade my storage to 60, then it will be time to start collecting for the next castle upgrade. I'm finding it easier to concentrate on just collecting one type of crystal to 10 and then polishing, until I have 10 polished and can craft a carved one, there just isn't space for trying to do both frozen and veg at the same time. I have been tiptoing around trying to avoid the green ones and getting rid of any that I picked up by mistake, now I'm going to have to remember that they are the ones I want and to avoid the frozen snowflakes. walking-and-thinking-smiley-emoticon love a game that challenges me, but not to much tearing-hair |

Yep, sounds like a great plan. I haven't played in a while. It became a bit overwhelming for me but i may start up again later today or tomorrow. I keep trying to breed rares still, mischievous-grin-smiley-emoticon
I get the games all mixed up, the rules for some do not apply for others but i try to apply the same rule to all the games. animated-laughing-smiley-emoticon I recently saw an Ad to down load a game on BS named Dragon Vale. It is very similiar to SM2. It drove me crazy. I never figured out how to zoom out on that one. Ctrl - didn't work. On SM2 i assigned O = to zoom out, I = to zoom in.
So i check in on forum to say hi but i don't log on games. I did feed my tribe SM so fast finger chief wouldn't boot me off. animated-laughing-smiley-emoticon
Well that's my story and i'm sticking to it. tongue-in-cheek-smiley-emoticon Sooo i'm going back to bed for a couple hours & wait for the sun to rise. Have fun you great kool monsters. two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon

 It did all get a bit too much trying to breed rares, feed up the tribal monsters and play a new game at the same time tearing-hair but now the rares have finished it is easier to concentrate on Dawn of Fire and collecting shards and food for the tribe. Whew, what a relief - playing games was beginning to feel a bit like work  |

Yep, i'm not loving DOF but i won't quit, i'm still trying to get 1 on ethereal. Just 1 would make me happy. happy-yes-smiley-emoticon

tearing-hair uggggh... i am stuck.. no more beds... nursery & breeder full... i want to place sm receiving XP. Can't level castle cause i dont have the required stones. I made mistake raising all sm to lev 4 so i dont want to sell them after investing all that food. I dont know what to do so i will walk away, calm down & try to figure my options. Cant upgrade storage dont have stones for that either. Island at level 7, mammoth lev 6, trying to move him once lev 10. Oh what to do, i cant remember NOT to pick up cabbage, i dont need them, i wanted to keep some trees & rocks, i like them. So after i bake i cant pick up food. I am just stuck. Help me please someone, anyone......     |

1Luv, dear... if i remember well, there is no XP for placing monsters... When you feed a baby you've already received the xp for it, so you can sell them - you won't loose any advances for selling them, because they don't produce coins like they do in MSM... The better strategy is to pick the ones need to be leveled to level 10 for transportation, and just feed that monster then transport them to the outer islands. Actually, after we will have all the outer islands populated, it is not a bad strategy to breed new babies, and then sell them on a low level, and breed new ones instead, because they eat less on lower levels... although they will give less xps and less coins, also, but we would have less strain to assemble those long lists of orders they require on a higher level... so the 'turn-around' would be more dynamic, and less boring. Focus on polishing and carving crystals, since that's how you can level your castle and vault... before Air continent opens on level 19, you can level your castle up to 40 beds, and your vault to 60 spaces. It is getting a hassle to bake all the goods these babies want, and honestly i started to log in to the game less and less because of it. I think, we just need to get used to how this game works since is very different from our MSM we got used to... Do you have the 'jeweler', yet? That's the machine you can polish and carve your crystals for a jewelry... to polish one gem you need 10 crystals... that's eases on your vault!... if you get stuck  with space, though, dump the crystals! They are the only items regularly provided by the game, so they can be easily replaced - all other stuff we have to make...  |

Yea, need lev 8 for jeweler. Sooo i sold baby from nursery for about 491 coins, yayyy. I removed all trees, 2 rocks left to remove, leveled mammoth to lev 9 so far. I will go back & read your game tips.
