BTW! annatar, the cold part of the continent opens at level 9 and it is part of the "continent" - you can simply drag the monsters there, no special requirements - yay! s7926

moncsi, Good News: The DoF wikia finally mentions Seedlings. Bad News: They too have no idea of their use. I've sent 2 different monsters to the Wondermine. Both brought me an Apple. wt I can get them from the tree faster but I dutifully sent another this morning. Thanks for the extra info on Transporting. I was kind of saddened my Babies grow up on the Outer Islands. They grow up way too soon. I'm not a Farm Frenzy fan but this game does have a farming feel, for me, like Farm Up. I gave up on that F2P game after an update make it literally unplayable. That and they made a huge leap to money grab. I support my F2P games with occasional purchases but when it's starts getting out in the stratosphere on costs, I'm done. It's too early to tell but DoF may be going that route too. My Castle needs polished gems & blue crystals to upgrade further but my Vault needs the same. Both are important and both would cost 52 diamonds, if I wanted to bypass the polished gems. Without knowing what that Vault will hold after the next upgrade, I'm leery of wasting my diamonds yet. I can't put my newest baby from the Nursery on the Continent because I have only 2 beds available and it is a 3-element/3 bed baby. I have had to stop breeding and level up babies to transport, so you are most certainly correct that picking a baby and feeding it up for transport is the way to go to free up Castle beds. While I love the babies, I am still on the fence with this one. I'm giving it more time to see where it goes.

I think, we just hopped onto this game with too much enthusiasm... lol. I find it very enjoyable, but I need to slow down, and accept the game as a stand-alone and not as MSM2. I think, what curbs our enthusiasm is that there isn't any info about what is what, and what it is for. Like the seedlings... This gem-polishing business is giving me a shiver, and I'm on the point that I don't want to pick the crystals up anymore...lol. I'm almost done with polishing for the castle upgrade. What bugs me, that I would wanted to upgrade the vault first, but the second item for the upgrade will be available only at level 14 - I think... at least the wood trunk shows availability at level 14 in the workshop - I haven't the foggiest where the encased "pearl" will come from. Anyways, I'm having fun with transporting the babies, and listen their new tunes on the Space station. I'm also having fun to hatch the new babies, the ones, we don't know yet from MSM1. firefly, Give it a little more time - we are only playing this game for a couple of days, lol. BTW, I always spend a little money on F2P games - I respect the developers right to eat. This game wasn't any different, I've bought the 470some diamond pack for $3.75, and I have purchased some extra production lines for it, extra slots in the jeweler, I sped up couple of things, and I bought slimes. I still have 100 or so diamonds, but my life in the game became much easier. I think, MSM1 PC version was much more money hungry than this one. I stopped playing FarmUp myself - after the last upgrade I couldn't log in to the game anymore - nor to Midnight Castle nor to Found - those 3 games just completely locked me out right after the FarmUp update... (and I've spent pretty bucks on all!) There wasn't ANY answer for my tech. tickets after the initial "We got your inquiry... and we are working on it", nor I got any refund - I've cancelled my membership with BFG. Although, Blue Stacks has its drawbacks, as well, I enjoy gaming with it right now. I have 3 games going - MSM, DOF, and Sims - Build it. The later one is much more fun than I thought it would be. I have also started Dragon City which game is very similar to MSM, but you breed and hatch dragons instead of monsters, and they don't sing, lol. running-around-smiley-emoticon If I keep being ahead in DOF, I will post all the new info as they come up. I kinda like that I don't know what's next - it keeps me interested.

Duh.... that makes sense. I don't know what's wrong with me. Sometime I think so much I can't think. Gonna blame it on that anyway until i come up with a better one. cOqGqLHqAZZGwZkgC3qN
All I could find about the seedlings is that they will be used for crafting decorations starting lev 7 per FAQ. Off to look back through threads on how to move them to Cold, i read it in moncsi thread now to find it again. Only lev 6.8 currently, everybody is lev 4 or 5. I took your advice about leveling 1 BM at a time. Soooo close... s1487
Hahaha bet you don't know what BM stands for.... See how it feels?..... s1492
Edit:
Moncsis quote "BTW! annatar, the cold part of the continent opens at level 9 and it is part of the "continent" - you can simply drag the monsters there, no special requirements - yay!" (end quote)
Fireflys quote "You are correct moncsi. Just watched another vid. Player is at Level 10 and their Cold is open and built on. They said it opened in Level 9, so it is just a matter of leveling up to open the extended Continents from Plant to Cold, Earth, Water & Fire. I read there is 5 and then the 3 Outer Islands." (end quote)
Sooo there's my answer, need at least lev 9 to go to other Continents. Okey Dokey... Thanks so much... two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon

Aww Moncsi, thanks for all your explanations! s10257
So the monster we send out in Space can't be used in breeding anymore... that's too bad, because it requires that we replace it, and then we didn't really get to clear any room in the castle after all.
I've been going for the noggin, since it seems that feeding one element monsters requires less feedings than higher element monsters. I wonder if we get exp for sending them out in Space...
I haven't quite found out what actions give exp yet. I tried watching the meter while clearing trees and rocks but couldn't see it moving at all. Do we get exp for producing food, or only when we do the actual feedings? It seems like I never get any further than lvl 7... orW5uYH3wYMumwOXawau

OK then, I'm loving this game but it makes my brain hurt trying to work it out walking-and-thinking-smiley-emoticon Due to my age I have started a notebook to try and keep track of what I'm doing. For example some 1e monsters only need feeding up to level 10 but others are 15 or 20, then there are the breeding times, the original fwog was quick to hatch but baby fwog takes 8 hours. My biggest headache is the juggling of food items to avoid filling up the storage, while trying to work out what you need to make specific items and then remembering who wants what. I guess this is what MSM was like when we first started playing it but we have become so familiar with it over time that we know what to do without really having to think about it. Most of all I love the new music and the cute little babies and the fact that I don't know what I'm doing just makes it more interesting. I think it is

I missed that about the Seedlings from the BBB FAQ @1luvgaming OR I forgot it. Going with the senior moment. ;) Thanks a bunch for mentioning it! I went back and reread the FAQ just to cover myself. I need to look at the Decorations and see if I can unload some of them pesky things. They are stockpiling in my Vault and taking up much needed space. moncsi, I get what you're saying about it being really different and maybe the hype ergo the over excitement on my part over the game. It is so very different from the first MSM. I just need to give it some time and get used to it. I will make a dev support donation but my rule in the past is to give it 2 weeks from when I start playing. I always know by the end of that time whether I'll hang with it or not. This one slowed down kind of early IMHO. Either that or I learned a few tricks from playing the first MSM for PC versus when I started later playing on mobile devices. Maybe I made wiser choices and knew what I needed to do to keep making headway. In DoF, is as you say. It is all so new and there is very little to find on the Internet to help. It really is exploring a brand new territory but I have to say right off the bat that I am sooooo glad I have such good friends here to exchange ideas and thoughts with while playing it. It makes it more enjoyable rather than struggling on my own.

firefly, I've found that the seedlings can be used at the workbench for making bushes and trees for decoration. I have no idea whether a monster ever will ask for these or if we're just gonna make them for fun. But if you spend some seedlings on that, at least you'll have more space in your shed.
moncsi, I just read (in those hints when opening the game) that the results of what you find in the Wondermine, depends on the combination of sigils in the monster you send in there. So maybe you could experiment to see who gives you what?

moncsi, I just read (in those hints when opening the game) that the results of what you find in the Wondermine, depends on the combination of sigils in the monster you send in there. So maybe you could experiment to see who gives you what? The more element a monster has the higher the percentage that it will come back with something good. Also, the time is longer it will spend in the mine. For example, a 1E has 40% chance to find a slime/mushroom, and 6% chance to find a diamond. BUT, it spends only 1 hour in the mine. A two element monster chances are going up to 60/12, but it spends 2 hours in the mine. And so on.... I have my favorite miner - a level 4 mammott - he already has brought me 8 slimes, 1 diamond, 2 mushrooms, a few apples, and 4 apple pies. I've sent a 2E in the mine in the beginning, it came back with 1 slime, and 1 apple... then I've sent a 3E to the mine (4 hours!) and came back with an apple and an apple pie. I figured, even if the mammott misfires sometimes, it spends only an hour in the mine so in the same 4 hours time span a 3E spends in the mine, the mammott turns around 4 times and brings 8 goodies, while the 3E would bring me 2 goodies AND it still can misfire. I keep sending the mammott, and I'm very satisfied with his performance as miner. Even if the chances are set higher for a higher element monster, the duration of the mining really made me to choose a 1E to do this chore. There is a new item appeared at level 12, only read the spoiler if you want to know what to expect. At level 12, there is a new item the monsters have to retrieve from the mine - wonder mushrooms - they are needed to craft stuff, plus, the monsters start to ask for it right away it gets unlocked... just saying.
The item needs to level up the vault will be available to craft at level 14. Thank you, so much @1luvgaming, and annatar, for the info about the seedlings - I was ready to dump them...lol... I just crafted two decorative vegetation; a bush and a palm tree. The game is getting less annoying now, that I understand that it is not meant to be won in couple of days...lol... I'm a little bit less agitated about the orders of the monsters, and I have made my peace with the limitations in the game. Annatar, dear - if you want to level up fast, feed your monsters, and check the goals list often, too... Xp point are won by feeding the monsters, and completing goals - there are xp for upgrades, and for placing monsters on the continent, as well... The more coins a monster gives for a feeding, the higher the xp, too.... Since there isn't a number bar for the xp, I cannot determine how much is the corresponding xp for a feeding, or any other things... sorry. Maybe, I could measure the distance the xp bar travels with one feeding...lol... just kidding. You'll get there fast, dear, just stuff your monsters! Love ya, all!

Thank You very much annatar for the Seedling info! I have 20 of those blasted things and I always need space in the Vault. Trying to juggle food orders and the various items I need to make a food has become a strategy and time management lesson. I've been sending different monsters with different element counts into the Wondermine too moncsi. I wanted to see how they differed. Thanks for the suggestion of Mammott. I haven't tried it yet. Still plugging along but wish the monsters you Transport to Outer Islands did more than morph to an adult and learn a new song.

firefly, my high performance mammott has "pooped" out... so I've changed to a 3E... he has brought back 1 slime, 1 mushroom and and apple pie at his first round... I'll go and check what's the other round's result. By the info, a 3E has 100% chance to find a slime/mushroom, and 20some to find a diamond. BUT!!! It takes a horrid 4 hours for him to search - lazy schmuck! hi-computer-smiley-emoticon
