Thanks so much, I like 'gradual'. I put 2 turkeys in ovens, 4 pizzas, 1 pie. Mmmmmm. I don't want decorations yet because I cannot move trees & rocks so no room.
I just wasn't sure how you guys build shard inventory sooo fast but now i see, I usually only log in 1 or 2 times daily, rarely have gone 24 hrs without logging in so I miss a lot by not collecting those few when I do.
I will just plug along & do the best I can, just want to do my part & assist where others cannot. Thanks again sometime switching back between two games I just lose where I am & where I want to go or do next. walking-and-thinking-smiley-emoticon

I decided that every week, I would level up by at least five more levels, for example:
- Week one: level 10
- Week two: level 15
- Week three: level 20
It is a very gradual way to contribute to the tribe, and every week I earn enough extra shards to afford the extra contribution while still saving up for decorations. I also save all my failures, and I will only get rid of them when I start running out of bed space. I check the game twice a day, so it means I add two more shard-earners (failures) on ethereal island every day.
While your contribution is very appreciated, it is important to not spend all your shards on feeding your tribal monster; a gradual increase would be my best advice
That's a really good advice you are giving here, Michou! Instead of worrying about not levelling far enough, and don't taking care of my island, I'll do what you suggest and do only a few levels more every week, so I can also use some shards on necessary stuff on my island. I didn't have the conscience to using shards for my island or for my monsters, using everything on tribal, but maybe it's better to also take care of my own island's needs now and then.

 What a great idea Michou, I have managed to get all my monsters to level 50 or higher this week, but will only be able to go a few levels higher each week from now on, as I need to clear rocks and trees to make space for them all. Don't think of those 1e babies as failures though, following something Moncsi posted a while ago (which I can't find now) I checked it out on MSM Wikia and the highest earning ethereals are humbug, jeeode and reebro as they earn faster and hold more per bed than the 2 elements. So I have changed my strategy to having only 1 or 2 (maybe more animated-laughing-smiley-emoticon ) of each 2e and filling the island with those higher earners. They do take up more space though so less room for decorations, although sleeping grumpies can double up as paths or borders  |

I spend ALL of my shards on tribal leveling, my monsters on ethereal are between level 8-9 - I cannot afford to feed them higher just yet. My experience is that the 1E ethereal monsties are making shards much faster than the 2Es - go figure, lol bug-eyes-alien-smiley-emoticon Yay Moncsi you were right! |

busted Ahaaa, TJ fell for it his/her level went up to 37 taking the tribal level to 1000, so whoever is obviously keeping a close eye on the tribe. I am also wondering if TJ and Tobiasjuh are connected or maybe the initials are just a coincidence and my paranoia is showing  |

I would like to try something I've never done before. Put a Wubbox on Ethereal Island. I have 4 monsters left there that only need 2 more feeding to level 15. Then all will be Level 15. The cost of a Wubbox is 150,000 shards. I have that and it isn't coming out of my Tribal contributions. I always keep a reserve for emergencies in case a Friend would need covered for a week or so. Please keep in mind that Earning Rate & Maximum Income will vary according to Happiness and Feeding Level. In my case, I have used 100% Happiness for each monster because I have already met that condition. As I mentioned above, I only have 4 monster left to reach level 15 in feedings, so I'm using that condition as well because I will meet it within a few days and hopefully by Monday. I just reset 8 bakeries with Cakes, if that doesn't do, I just may pull my hair out. A Wubby takes 15 Beds. I'm willing to sacrifice at least one of each of my existing ones to the Wubby but that decision will impact my Tribal contributions in a negative way. I also don't think I need to be that rash. I do need to sacrifice some to free up space as my Castle at E-I is filled to the brim without one bed to spare. I am literally forced to sell all monster directly from the Nursery and lose the XP. I hate that. What I would rather do is sacrifice just one or two of my Ethereals to the Wubby to free up space and then start breeding the rest and place them straight into that Wubby from the Nursery. We could do that in the PC game but I'm not positive yet if the same can be done in the mobile version and on Ethereal Island. Anyone know for sure? Anyway, then my impact on the Tribe would be considerably lessened because only a very little would be actually lost from my overall shard earnings. My thought is one Ghatz and one Reebro because I have 4 of them. It will take time to get that Wubby fed to 15 and he's a hungry boy! I'd also need to eventually save and place what he loves to get 100% Happiness. Am I allowed to drool d05599e1e68a7543b227885912f9277d-d6ix2i6 at the prospect of what a Wubby can earn in regard to the rest? I'd like to try this Wubby experiment but would love some input from others. Have you thought about it? Is it worth it? |

firefly, yes, I want a wub on ethereal, too. Maybe more than one. Yes, you can feed the wub right from the nursery in this version of the game, too; I have one on Plant, and I activated him that way (there was no way in hell I would give him fat monsters...lol) Excellent idea, and I'm not worried about your reduced tribal contribution. I thought about the wub myself, and it takes a lotta shards to buy one, not to mention to feed the metal-beast, but I'm not getting one, not just yet. Since I said that I could go further than 60 for a good while now, I just didn't have to because of you and LilB, I could step up with some more levels. Although, I don't have level 15 monsters on ethereal just yet, they give enough shards to level nicely on Tribal, and tribal is my main focus right now. I'm glad to support your idea!  I repeat my proposal here: All of us, who can, should feed the tribal monsters by their capability but not more than level 50 till Friday - then we meet here, and see who can squeeze some more out, to reach the 1000, or we would decide to stop leveling. We will level further than 50 voluntarily, and not because we feel pressured. We will make our decision together for everybody's satisfaction. I will make that midway spreadsheet about our standing, as a "handout". I will keep my new "name" in the game for a week; then I would like to go back to Moncsi, if you don't mind, and stop lobbying for our tribal island. If our message won't get through in a week, it wont' get through period. I'm soooo not worried about others' conduct anymore, I just want to enjoy your company on tribal. I would officially like to lay in Michou's hand what will happen with our "resident aliens"... We all have said our peace, let the boss decide. I love ya'll,

Wow, great advice smellnroses2! Thank You! I checked and the Humble Hotel is only 100 shards. Moving some of my monsters there is an excellent idea! Thank You also to michou3 & moncsi! So, I am going to go for it then. I have been itching to get my fingers on one for my Firefly game. If I'm going to do it, why not where it can help the most? I have one monster in the Nursery waiting to come out and another variety already waiting to transfer from the Breeder, so it's happening tonight. It will take some time to breed one of each kind, so I'll keep those 8 bakeries running with Cakes to start feeding him once I get his tummy full of Ethereals. I want to eventually do 2 Wubbies but definitely one at a time. Three 5 bed Ethereals must be sacrificed to free up enough Castle space for 12 beds total. Whether I sell them, store them in the Hotel or sacrifice them to the Wubbie, I'd be losing their daily shards. Good news on the Wubbie Happiness front. Their likes are: Toob (8 shards), Digger (200 shards), Ambered Thing (50,000 shards), & Tub Fountain (100,000 shards). I have all of them already so when it is activated, it will start at 100%. Fabulous luck there for me. Most are in Storage but they still count towards Happiness. LOL Well good news moncsi. I just checked Tribal and we have already hit 1000. I didn't see anything in the Shoutbox about 1500 so save em while you can ladies! :| I'm kind of glad we hit it already. I'd be stretching myself super thin in my Jdoodles game to hit and maintain 50 levels yet. 45 is still tricky. I stopped early this week hoping to save some towards Happiness decorations. I need something to make them earn more. I'd actually like a few more weeks, if that's possible, to get into a better position. My E-I is getting better and I was finally able to move 2 more kinds of Ethereals in the last week but I still have a lot of duds that I refuse to waste food on. I know I'll be discarding them as I get more of each kind. They are there just to earn. Something is always better than nothing. I think I can still hit level 95 at Tribal. You got 96 this week cause my finger went faster than my eyes were watching. animated-laughing-smiley-emoticon By the time I caught it, I was half way through 95 and thought, Well Dang! I've done gone and committed myself to another full level now. I think, but can't be sure until I try it, that I might be able to do 100. Even with the Wubbie going in and 2 Ethereal coming out. I'm just not sure though. We will see. I would rather stay on the cautious side and say 95 though. I've been tracking my shard earnings and contributions. I've been stopping at 95 because I didn't want to push us past 1000 and waste shards. I think I could have done 105-110 when all monsters were level 15 but that is still a guess because I've no idea what full levels cost past level 96. I tried to shoot high and use a base of approx 15,000 a level. That was at level 100 to 105. We know it goes up but I haven't bothered to run the exact numbers because I still had unknown variables. Doing the Wubbie is going to skew my numbers off a bit and why I wanted to get him started for Monday. That's when I start tracking for a new week. My final monsters will be fed to 15 by then too filling another variable. That should give me a more accurate account. When all conditions are met, the earn rate should only fluctuate at how often I gather shards. I try to hit them before they hit max but it's not always possible. Then there is overnight. I'm not waking up to gather shards. I love the game but I am a real crab when I don't get my 8 hours of beauty sleep.  As far as Tribal, I'm done discussing that because...well, just because. I try to be very :)) but sometimes I am very >:( I hate when I lose my temper because I usually have it under control. Anyway, let me see what happens this week. If I calculate out that I can still hit 95 levels, I will let the Tribe know as soon as I can. That will allow some to keep theirs and reinvest them back into their games or even save them for much needed other items. Bet many could stand to level their E-I castles up. I remember how tough that was in my Jdoodles game and still give to Tribal too. I was glad when I hit the diamond leveling stage. At least that was something different to save for. Update.
Wubbie in the House and he needs 15 Beds for Ethereal Island, 6 Beds for all the others. I removed the chart in my earlier post since it was showing 6 beds and that was wrong. Have a good weekend everyone. See you Sunday night or Monday.
