I rarely can light them - whenever I go to a friend's island to light, it usually simply kicks me off the game. It is not a game glitch, though - it is my internet connection. Sometimes I succeed and can light a handful, then the game jumps to the login page instead of the next friend. It's pretty annoying.

I get that a lot, my internet connection is strong enough to play the game until I try to visit friends and then as Moncsi says happens to her I get thrown out to the login page so once that happens a couple of times I give up trying. It is usually when I am playing on my kindle not so bad on the pc. It's the same on DOF when I try to open the market it doesn't always work I just get the little roundy roundy thing.

I get thrown off BlueStacks a lot when I go to Fox News and try to read their stories. Drives me nuts!

Yeah, we had a lot of turbulence over tribal island in the past. Funny thing is, that before you've joined we used to hit 1500 steadily. Then there was a few unpleasant conversation about who levels to where, and half of the people left the tribe. In the last round we were shy with only 8 levels - I was trying to give all I got, I even sold my coins for shards, but I just couldn't make the missing 8 levels. It seemed, nobody else was giving the effort. But, all is good. I'm not sure what has happened with our chief, Jazzy, she hasn't been around for a while, but she seems to make changes on the island. Half of the tribe members are playing for a year, at least, and they might get a little bored, and don't log in every day. Also, it seems we have at least 7 newbies, they might not capable to level very high just yet. Before you've joined, we had a poll what we would like to achieve with our tribal island, and one of the winning answer was "Helping low level players get strong". The only thing I can ease your frustration with, dear, that have a level in mind you feel comfortable to level to, and stop there. On an ideal 30 members tribal island, if everybody levels to 50 would be enough to hit the max. reward steadily... but we don't live in a perfect world, and I was already "stoned" for this statistical insight. Unfortunately, we always have to make up for lower levelers, so we don't have enough reserve collected for the beginning of the week. Also, not everybody logs in their game on Monday. I'm not sure what to tell you, we love you here and on tribal island and I hope you'll stay with us. smiley-hug008

I'm terribly sorry. I haven't been able to be a part of things recently. I have been soooo busy. Now that school is out I gave 8 children here for about 12 hrs a day. T-ball has started too. That takes up much of our evenings. I'm finding it hard to even collect. I will try to keep checking and leveling to 90. I would love help though. If there are people not leveling please let me know. I have missed seeing how things ended. I currently have a great player from my friends that wants to join. So if someone isn't making the cut say so and I'll remove them and add my friend.
Again so sorry. Thanks for all you wonderful monsters do!

Has anyone ever thought of putting a minimum levelling rule for those wishing to join the tribe as a lot of others do? I see a lot of tribes hitting the level 1500 mark on their first day of the week, while ours usually hits about 600 then goes up slow from there. I believe we are on week 4 since I joined and we only hit the 1500 mark once. I have levelled to 65, 80, 85, and this week should be over 90. I love being part of a team, but me levelling up that high to give rewards to others who seem like they don't even is frustrating. Anybody who has the Ethereal Island unlocked can breed monsters there fairly quickly and shouldn't have any problem levelling to at least 30 or 40 within a couple weeks. I'm not trying to be a dick or anything...haha! Just wishing everyone would try and level like some of us do. More than once. This is the first time in a long time we haven't been hitting 1500. We've had a lot of big contributers leave. As a group we don't like to leave newbies behind just because they haven't got far I the game. As long as they continue to grow we usually hang on to them. If they don't grow or simply don't level up then we try for someone new. I will do my best to keep up on it. Sorry all!

a game is a game and it is to be fun or it would be called work. i'm sure there are tribes out there that are very competitive. if anyone is unhappy & thinks we are failing because they do not get 20 gems added to their total every week, go find those tribes.
i am one of the slow movers and very much appreciated the patience & FRIENDLINESS shown to me as i was leveling up; and i want to do the same for others behind me. not only are there newbies here, but also good people who have a lot going on in their lives away from the computer. being at the top every single week at the exclusion of those less able is not what my happiness is all about.
well, that's my 2 cents worth.

ok, my 2 cents: We have hit goal more times than not. And for that I'm glad and thankful for you all. That being said, those that have more than one on tribel should at least get one to 50 per week. As has been pointed out, E's can reproduce quite easily. But to be taking up more than one spot and not at least get to 50, I frankly don't like. That monstie could go to a good new player, that will at least get to what a minimum should be. While I don't mind helping a "young" game, and even helping out when someone is away for awhile. I realize we haven't all been around as much as we usually are, and with summer upon us, it' only going to get more stressed on time. We just need to maybe re-asses a few things. happy-feet-penguin-smiley-emoticon

i do agree with that, sandy, because i did not know people could have more than one monster. i just thought we had a bunch of newbies. do one thing at a time and do it well.
