I have no problem to leave the tribe with the thumpies... As far as I see, our tribe is changing so much lately, I could leave a little bit, and come back when it is needed. I need to check the game again... this morning there was only 29 members... So, we could have Mr. Metaljazzywine with the pummel, and I don't have to leave with the thumps, either. I'm getting better with the thumpie game, although I can't on a life of me breed a 2E on ethereal in that game... Let alone to breed an other ethereal on a regular island besides ghatz and grumps... Really annoying. Anyways, I go and check tribal island, again, because by Michou there is an other thump on the island right now, I couldn't see it in the morning. I was going to breed more 2 element monsters on ethreal until I learned that the best earners are jeode, reebro and humbug/bed. So now I'm trying to breed more of them and sending my 2e to the hotel. I just can't bring myself to sell them.

 do you have their fc to check what level they are at? If not why not let them join now and if they don't level up straight away let them go before the reset? I don't know if nw will join, I was just hoping she would but don't wait if you already have applicants two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon |

I have levelled up with all I have this week (as I do almost every week) but we still lack 150 Levels. It seems like reaching 1500 gets harder and harder every week because we have several small members.
But what makes me a little pissed off, are all those who level to 50 early in the week and then stay there. They obviously have more shards, but they don't go any further, forcing a few to spend every last shard to level as high as we possibly can, to manage 1500. Why can't those 50-levlers help pulling a little more weight by at least levling to 60 for a while, since we have to carry those small members? I'm tired of having to spend every last shard on levelling, (and never affording to buy anything on my island), when so many seems to don't give a damn.
I wish to know what should be the policy here. Should a few carry most of the weight every week while others can splurge with shards all over their own island, or should the 50-levlers help pulling the weight of the small levlers? Or aren't we going to aim for 1500 any longer?
I'm getting tired of always pulling the weight of the 50-levlers. (Who's islands are higher levels than mine.)

I think some people spend the rest of the week saving until the next week. So they can get to 50. I don't know. I do understand a bit I have mine at 100 or so trying hard too. I hope we make it. But with new people it might take a little bit.

Annatar , I understand your frustration, but you shouldn't worry too much about this. You shouldn't feel like you have to carry the burden of getting the tribe to level 1500 all by yourself. If you wish to level up to a lower level so you can decorate your island, please do so s4389 . It's true that it's getting harder and harder to reach this level because newer players are joining us... As for me, well, I give all my shards to my bogwart on Mondays after work, then I spend the rest of the week saving up to feed the bogwart all over again the following Monday. Michou s7926 |

I'm simply not able to play the game regularly .... cut me a little slack here, and I will be back on my game shortly. I have serious time issues, I just simply cannot spend time with things I like to do. I'll try to schedule to collect shards in my game every day (at least), and contribute more..., I promise. I could level my monster to the upper 80s if I have the shards harvested. Eskimo's game is getting to a solid 50 shards, if I collect the shards there regularly, too...
I apologize, I keep forgetting that if I don't level, someone else has to carry me... sorry. :-S

Eboney, I just think some of us were feeling a little nervous about whether we'd hit 1500 levels or not, that's all. At least I know I was. I see we all play our games differently. I make it a point to level to 50 early in the week, my "minimum" so to speak, then give five more levels every day after that. This way, I let you all know that I'm here and actively participating while keeping an eye on everyone else to see where they are at. I can give more than my 85 levels but I wasn't going to unless I saw that we were closer to the final goal. As for the newbies, we don't "know" all of them so we can't guess as to what they're capable of. Unfortunately, having a tribe full of forum members seems an impossibility since everyone is free to come and go and they do. So we're left with those who request to be included with us being unable to see their islands unless we have their friend code.

Part of the problem here is that too many people are stuck on the "magical 50". Because somebody did the math long ago, and found that if we have thirty players and they all level up to 50, we can hit 1500.
30x50=1500
But this doesn't WORK! We don't HAVE 30 members who can level to 50! At least 10 are "smaller" members. So we need to do the math again.
1500/20=75
This means that all who are able, should aim for getting near to 75, not 50. That way they are helping to pull the weight for the small members, without most of the strain burdening on just a few members who have to level much higher than they really should.
Back when the "magical 50" was invented, several people changed their names to tell those who weren't in the forum, that level 50 was the aim. Why can't these people change their names again, to tell the members that e.g. level 70 is the new goal? The "magical 70"? I'm certain that several of these 50-levlers can get there without breaking a sweat.
And then the few who carry everybody's weight can get a most deserved break!
I also want to know - yes or no - whether reaching 1500 is our goal or not. Please somebody responsible for the tribe respond to that.

PS. I also want to add that we have had people quitting the tribe because they were accused of levelling "too high"... when what they really did was carrying the 50-levlers. Where is the logic behind that? |

I held back from levelling past 50 this week as we have 3 new players who I know nothing about. I was hoping they would be in a position to level up more than they have.
I will make sure I add enough levels to reach 1500 before the reset
