And I'm even further behind...sigh! Yep i see, you guys play with a different strategy than i do. You bought Time Machines & Recording Studios costing 150,000 together & you could have baked 1 Turkey with 100,000. That would raise your tribe SM to lev 10 and then some. I don't purchase anything that will not raise SM happiness at this time. I don't even know how to use the recording studio... animated-laughing-smiley-emoticon But hang in there & keep trying to breed that ethereal. I can't get a Sox for the life of me even with 8 torches constantly lit.  Maybe i DO need a time machine to speed them up in more ways than one. s4135 Yeah, I do do things bassackwards. In my defense, though, I had just gotten here from BF and had never seen some of this stuff and I just wanted it all...I just had to have it. Plus, I knew nothing about tribal island and that it was a group participation thing. All that said...I've never used the recorder...don't have a clue how to do it...just thought it would make a "statement" in my decor...but it doesn't...sigh!  |

I'd noticed the time machines and recording studios on others' islands too and had wondered why they just didn't sell them since they're basically useless, but I didn't want to seem pushy but I'm glad you brought it up. Has anyone ever used their recording studio?? None of the islands I've ever seen them on both from my friends list and random visits have ever sounded any different from the regular monster songs. I've seen a video from #1 fan Diane on how to exchange songs between monsters but have never seen anyone else actually do this, so it seems that it's a big waste of coins that can be used elsewhere. Your suggestions for where to spend those coins instead of on time machines and recording studios were great, 1luv!!! Selling them off would provide at least some readily available coins that can be used more effectively, IMHO. ::) |

Yeah, I bought and tried the recording studio in the beginning. BUT. I couldn't use it - I was told, I was missing something, a program, still didn't care to look after what, lol. I have a time machine on ethereal, I found the music a bit better a little bit slower.
Fishy! 1 turkey is 1,000,000 coins to bake, just saying. bug-eyes-alien-smiley-emoticon

Some ethereal double element monsters are quite difficult to get. But again, if it was easy, it would not be funny :) and we would maybe have less time talking about it! :) :) Try +2 torches for a start! |

Sorry my math was wrong for the turkey moncsi, you are right 1M for that baked brown delicious beauty. Anyway after this week of diamond rewards i will remove both pompom & toejam from tribe. I am disappointed about wubbox, not being able to get my first one.
I will be ready next year when it go on sale for 37,500 vs 150,000 shards. 75% off, now that's the kind of sale i love.
Hope i got it right this time. animated-laughing-smiley-emoticon
I wouldn't sell any of those gadgets Dani, you will lose some of your hard earned coins. It does look nice, i just couldn't afford them yet.

I agree that the 75% discount during 24 hours is harsh, this is very little time to collect either 37,000 shards or 18,000,000 coins... :( Personally I was lucky that I had already saved coins, by chance (bakeries not ready), so I could get one. I think the 50% discount occurs several times a year, doesn't it? This is already a sweet deal. |

Yea it probably won't take 12 months, i was kind of joking about 2017. Not leaving KM just tribe. I love being a team/family and my guilt is overwhelming when i don't level. Because of my real life brain injury i must remain stress free. For now this is the only solution i have.
Please don't be upset with me but i must do what's best for my sanity. I love you guys too much not to contribute for a month or more. Even when Sandy & others carried toejam for 1 week, my insides were in turmoil.
I don't know if you guys are familiar with manic depression or brain injuries but unless you want me locking all your threads or removing them or hurting your feelings you will support me on this so i can continue being kind to you. agree3 s7926

BTW, I'm not upset with *you* for doing what you have to do to stay healthy. For what it's worth, I've had lifelong depression so my avatar betrays how I really feel and she looks happier than me most of the time. lol I'm just bummed that we'll be missing TWO of you on the tribe. You may think you didn't contribute that much but your two monsters together have given quite a lot and I'll miss not having your toe jammer sitting beside my fwog on the island.
