She is on level 42, I think, her contribution would've been every week... too late, though, she is already back to a tribe. Oh well... :|

Yea, i'm experiencing a lot of guilt & pressure right now, can we just leave our tribe alone for a while..... please.... Is 5 more diamonds worth the anxiety i feel each time we discuss giving someone the boot believing it will be toe jam?    It is taking the fun away, some days i just dont want to log on. |

Eboney, Jan is the type of tribe member I've been referring to all along without actually mentioning her name in my previous posts. Like you, she's been lighting my torches daily so she checks her game and has seen those "aim to level 50" messages. In my opinion, she has no excuse as to why she's not giving more, she just chooses not to while resetting her double enhanced breeders/nurseries to get more 4E monsters, and her many wubboxes and other monsters are very well fed so they're generating a lot of shards and coins that could be donated to the tribe without ever being missed but are not. It looks to me like she's been using the diamond rewards to biggafy her monsters. In other words, she doesn't NEED them like we do. As for bettamom, she's on my friends list and lights my torches regularly too but had joined another tribe long ago. And as for tazruby, I'd sent him my FC on the BF forum and asked for his so that we could light each other's torches and asked if he'd joined our tribe yet but got no reply. Maybe he's started his own tribe. I'd also sent messages to pkgr (can't remember all the letters in her name) both here and on BF saying the same thing but no reply. She's the one on our forum with the avatar wearing the red blouse. She hasn't posted in ages either but maybe she's on another tribe as well.
I couldn't care less about trying to reach 1500 levels. 1000 levels is easily attainable each week, we know that now, but those extra 500 is just too much to aim for, in my opinion. I know I can't contribute much more each week to make enough of a dent in that goal and I don't want my shards to be wasted trying even if we bypass 1000 levels earlier in the week. I'm happy to stay at 1000 levels and don't need the pressure either of trying to get the final 500. None of us are far enough in our games to carry the rest and I don't want to put any pressure on those much further along than me either.

Although did wonder what would happen if next Monday morning we all levelled to 10 and then saved our shards until later in the week. What do you think? Or am I just being a trouble maker   1luv if you leave I am coming with you, we could start a new tribe and call it '50 levels of Monsters' but I think we are better off where we are  love you all and am having mucho fun with monsters again |

No no you troublemaker s1492 You misunderstood, i don't want to leave, my pompom has no problem reaching 50 or 60. But my toejam is my concern. I just today sent reebro to nursery so that gives me 3 on ethereal.

I was concerned chief may boot toejam off & replace me with that more established player. But now i know michou would take care of those trying to be team players.
I will NEVER forsake kool monsters, no one in the whole world loves us & can keep me in line like moncsi & michou3.
I love them & all the friends i've made here. We laugh, cry, disagree, share & forgive like no other forum family.
So thanks for the thought but you are stuck with me because toejam is lev 25 which is higher
than some with full family of ethereals. I have 125 shards currently but moving on up. I am once again happy. Whew what an emotional roller coaster i've been on..... for nothing. animated-laughing-smiley-emoticon

I couldn't help noticing this is the second week in a row the shellbeat doesn't level up at all... do we give it another week in case it was on a 2-week vacation, or do we release it from the tribe on Sunday? I need your opinions about this hrmm . I also noticed one of the reedlings hasn't levelled up yet this week, so I'll be keeping an eye on it next week.

I've managed to stretch my monster further than I thought possible, so I've actually reached lvl 50. 17 more levels than last week! But I don't think I can manage any more now, and we still lack 23 levels. What should we do to reach 1000?
I've busted my ass to reach this high, but what about those that are sitting on a lot of shards and can manage to fill the 23 levels we lack? Can they step in? I can't manage it all on my own! |

I'd be more willing to let quibble go this week (see my previous posts about her) and give shellbeat another week in the event that he is on vacation or otherwise indisposed. When he did contribute, he'd leveled to 30 at least twice already and seemed to be a real team player. But if another week goes by without leveling at all by shellbeat, then he can be up for discussion for next week's release.

happy-yes-smiley-emoticon I'm with fishy on this, the quibble is upsetting too many tribe members by obviously being in a position to give much more than she does and this has gone on for several weeks now. If she had put in the amount of effort that everyone else had to level to 50 we wouldn't be having this discussion.

annatar, dear... that's why we do the "level till Friday, only, but not more than level 50" ... we can see: 1. The progress of the "smaller" ones, 2. We can celebrate the ones joining in the "Club of leveling to 50", and we can SPREAD out the remaining levels needed among us, so the burden doesn't fall on couple of players, only. You, SNR, Dani, Pendy, Eskimo, and ToeJam-1Luv should stay put now, lean back, take a brake.... If it comes to that, I could single handedly make up for the missing levels, but I think, couple or few levels from the stronger monsters would do the job, and nobody needs to "bust their fanny"... Thank you, for putting all your effort to reach that level, I promise it will be easier and easier each week from now on. s10257 I'm with Deleted Member, The quibble levels to 10 for months now, since the beginning, pretty much. What is worth even less of not leveling at all, is not showing progress, when she obviously have the reserves to do it so. The Shellbeat could have a medical emergency, technical difficulties, vacation, family feud... we don't know. I would give an other week for her... I'm bugged by FloddyFosh, she/he doesn't seem to touched her/his game for a good while... Last week he/she leveled in the last minute, if I remember well... By my opinion, we should wait till tomorrow evening... there are 15 players has reached level 50, but we have couple newbies as Level50 players, like Deleted Member and annatar ... so, Lil Bee, Firefly, Dee, Michou, Sandy and I could invest 3-4 more levels each to reach 1000. It will take a little more from LilB, since she has more than one monster on tribal...lol. Anyways, my point is that I feel, this is a little bit more fair to everybody. I think, we should do the same way next week, level till Friday, as much we can but not more than level 50, then see... this would give enough reserves for a nice start up for next week and cleaning up, and decoration... we are doing well, Rome wasn't built in a day, either, we have time to reach the next and last goal together with taking small steps, and being patient with each other. We can let the slackers go, or keep them, I don't think it matters... We get the same amount of reward them being on the island or not. So, on this point it is only the matter of question if we can bear the thought that they are getting the same amount of reward as we do...lol So, on my part I will level tomorrow to 55, and keep my eye on, so I can throw couple more levels in, if needed. I will also wait until tomorrow to level up by at least 5 more levels, so don't worry if you see we're still not at level 1000, you can count on me for more levels. s6409 love you all and to prevent any further stress and keep that blood pressure level where it belongs I have levelled my monsters only 2 each to take us to 1000  save those shards for next week when it all begins again |
