So, I was up to light my friends' torches and give around the likes, when the game prompted me to update... and there it was: Tribal Island. For my biggest surprise, there was a koolmonsters tribe founded, with two members asking me to join... of course I did.. But who has started our tribe?
Also, after I joined, I didn't show up on the island... so how is this new island operated? Anyone?

I started that tribe, and I invited all of you. Moncsi, I placed your quibble this morning on the island, after I saw you accepted my invitation.
When I first clicked on tribal island, I saw I had already been invited to join a tribe. Being flattered, I accepted, but I didn't see my monster being added to the island, nor can I place it there myself. I think only the chief can place the monsters chosen by the 'tribespeople'.
Oh, on our tribe, I think I count for two people O_o ... 1 person for being the chief, and one person for being Michou3 LOL!
I'm still new at this, I think I'll be learning about it as we go along. Welcome everyone smiley-hug008 !

I don't really get it... you are the chief, but you are a member of an other tribe? Doesn't that make you a double agent?  lolololol Also, what does that mean that we have to keep our tribal island monsters well fed.  Yeah, I saw you as a member of an other tribe, and I thought "hmmm... traitor"...lolol  Thank you for your invite, and starting our tribe. The bad thing is, that I, as a member cannot invite others... also I cannot do anything on that island, besides look at it. Also, it seems, we cannot put legendary, ethereal and rare monsters there. I'm not willing to spend diamonds or shards on food until I realize the rewards, there are sooo many tribes already formed. I need to dig a bit further before I start using all my food and coins on this so please be patient with me. Wrinkles has a plea for Moncilla to help him start a tribe in BFG forum, soooo.... As far as who you will ask to join M3, well it's a bit late to ask now ya think, once you explain the real purpose of the tribe & my reward I will answer that question. You kind of jumped out there & lead me with you, I joined only because of who you represented "kool" not knowing you had decided this all by yourself, not nice, but now I'm not sure if it will be worth it since I am only level 12. I don't think it was a good idea without you discussing it with Moncsi & us first but it's done so I'll see where I go from here. For some reason my PC won't play the intro pod to the tribes so I am going in very green, not a good feeling. |

Hello Guys! I thought, I have this tutorial video here about the tribal island, it explains what this island is for... As far as I'm concerned, there isn't any importance of who is the chief, and I'm happy to have a little bit stronger connection with all of you in the game itself, as well! As much as I learned about this island so far, that anybody can be a chief by starting a tribe, but we can be a member of only one tribe at a time. (Therefore, you can represent yourself in two tribes) The video explains it further. 1Luv, dear, I do understand that you're upset with this new island... I think it will serve as some kind of popularity contest amongst the players. And it either will make friendships stronger, or it will break them apart. The good news is, that it resets every week, we can/could jump tribes. The bad news is that it resets every week, so all the coins/diamonds/shards/food we spend on leveling up our monsters on tribal island goes to waste, and we have to start all over again. The starpower is an individual rank, and it stays with the player even if he/she decides to join to a different tribe. You earn your starpower by feeding/leveling up your representing monster on tribal island... Sooooo, what is this island for? It is for to free you from your coins, diamonds, shards, foods LOL. smooth1 I'm not getting the point in it, yet, I'm sure, it will prove itself over time, we just need to be patient. I think, the music of a full tribal island is awesome, and the monster encased in the amber on the top sings beautifully once she/he (?) is freed. I need to look further how to break the amber around it... I'm sure, it will have to do with something like to have a certain level of the island, or a full membership.. or something else...lol... A tribe needs 30 members to be a tribe... anything less, and we are not a tribe. I think, it is awesome that we are keeping together, but If you guys feel more comfortable at a different tribe... well, I just keep loving you here, in the forum. I still would light your torches and all...  We are not 30 of us at this forum knowing eachother, so I think, we all should invite people from our friendlists, to have the 30 people to form a tribe. It will be our Chief, Michou's job to decide who will be placed in our tribe. Since the feeding earns individual starpower, we're not only building the tribe-level with feeding up our monsters, but we are building personal reputation, as well... I think.  Even though we are playing together, our games remain individually played, so I don't see why anybody should discuss with me if they start a tribe. As far as I'm concerned, we all should start a tribe, and try to recruit members there... 1Luv is right about the name, though, it is this forum's trademark. As far as a member of this forum starts a tribe with the forum's name, I don't mind, and I'm happy to join. I was just a little bit confused when I saw I was invited to a koolmonsters' tribe, lol... wt I though, we were highjacked, or something... lol... Thanks god, it was you, Michou... I was ready to "fight it off" with the thief, lol! poking-with-stick-smiley-emoticon 1Luv, dear, you are not obligated to feed your monster on tribal island... but! Feeding your monster there will give you starpower, which is your individual achievement... I think, they made it like this to emphasize, that what is good for a member, is good for the tribe. What I'm not sure about, that we earn starpower even if our tribe is not full... well we will learn a little bit more after the first week, I guess. I didn't want to upset anyone by starting this tribe, I'm new at his too. Perhaps we could leave this tribe and start a new one, and vote for a new tribe name (or even a new tribal chief)? The chief invites friends, then the friends accept the invitation, then the chief accepts the friend's answer and places the friend's monster on the tribal island. I placed your maw this morning (and I made sure Moncsi and Eskimo were next to each other). I don't see the point either in feeding those monsters, I need that precious food to feed other monsters happy-yes-smiley-emoticon . Ok, beginning to make sense a bit more. I personally do not have a problem inviting other forums, what could be the harm with that? Since we can only be in 1 tribe at a time i want to stay with kool monsters please.
Thanks for educating me, off to check out what maw is singing. Ohhh did you view the tribe BBB cet team? They unleashed the hiddem SM. So cute.
Any ideas on how we free our little critter? bug-eyes-alien-smiley-emoticon

I will therefore go ahead and invite other people, but I will start by letting in the two people so far that have asked to join. *** I feel cheap to not feed my bogwart... I am trying to save up the food for the shugabush, to send it to shugabush island to keep company to the lonely furcorn*** |

Since Sandy boosted up our tribe, the rest of the tribe members need to feedup their monsters only to 3, given that we have a full tribe... so YES! let everybody in who wants to come... keep one place open for ANNATAR, she just joined the game. Members can invite others, too... I have invited a bunch of people, and Sandy did, too... Leveling the island can be tricky because the higher the level the tribe, the more prize we get: we are on the 2 diamonds level, right now. What that means, that when the week expires, and everything sets back, the members of the tribe get the prize. Not to mention, that the higher you feed your monster on tribal island, the more starpower you earn individually, and I've read that the developers have a future use for the starpower... so it is really up to you how high you feed your monster on tribal island... Personally, I thank SANDY, for considering to carry the rest of us!  |
