I always feel guilty if I buy stuff to fix my island the way I want before I have purchased all the things my monsters want, so I'm kind of slow getting islands ready to post here. I always feel a real sense of accomplishment when I have an island ready to share. I look forward to seeing more of your islands when you are ready. If they are like this one, I'm in for a treat. Same with me cbcrm. I don't want to post my islands until I'm satisfied with them. I just felt I finally have enough on gold to feel like I could contribute to the photos, even if it is just a bunch of semi randomly placed monsters for now.

Welcome to a fellow Dandidoo fan :)
I think it's interesting to see how the islands evolve. I don't mean a daily photo, but maybe a "here's my start" and "here's the final"...sometimes it's fun to see how people change their minds or take advantage of a new path tile type and redecorate. I look forward to seeing what else you do with your Gold Island :) :)

I don't know why are you saying, that your monsters are "randomly" placed - there is a certain rhythm, and a well-proposed symmetry on your gold island. There are no duplicates (well, with one exception of the t-roxes), which shows me that you first went to satisfy the goal-sheet. You have most of the monsters represented, so I wouldn't call it a starter island, either. It is a nicely and surely developing, very harmonic gold island. Thank you for the picture, congratz, Buddy!
