I will delay posting a picture until after the Christmas decorations disappear, since I think the view will be better (in particular the Thumpies look silly away from Cold Island now IMO).
However, there is something I would like to share now. I think the SONG is wonderful - I have only strings, keyboards and percussion so no tweets or squawks or uhhhhs or yayas or other noises - and the lovingly played classical piano dominates with the Quibble taking lead, while the Deedge provides some marvelous synthesizer/organ counterpoint periodically in the first few stanzas. The Bowgart is always present with classical strings, the Shellbeat is at the forefront of the percussion, and the Riff provides a rousing Rock And Roll finale!
Whoever the composer is at Big Blue Bubble, I think he/she deserves a well-earned round of applause.
So here, if you are inclined to listen, is My Gold Island Song:

WOW!
Thank you for sharing this; what a great song! I need to go "tweak" my Gold Island for sure. I had no idea it could sound this good. TBH, I often play MSM without the sound on (bear with me here!) because I have wireless headphones and sometimes it's a bit of a pain to unhook them from the charger, turn them on, wait for the sound to kick in, adjust the volume (and then do all that in reverse when I'm finished) if I'm only going to play for five minutes. So I really hadn't taken the time to listen to my Gold island; I don't visit it except to drop off creatures, since I can't collect or buy anything there.
Gonna listen to that again, it's great!

Great sound, I have to agree with you I also find the instrumental sound better on this island. I'm quite surprised at how the Riff does work at the end of this piece - on mine he sounds out of place, but now I thinks it might be the voices at that part. I need to look and listen.
