I've just bought this (5 days ago) and it's under construction. I'm thinking underwater ruins (maybe the Dragon Tower in the middle?) and schools of fishy things. Also, little guys hiding in the corals. The pipe reeds should make a good home for the Reedlings to hide in. And when I get to level 21 I can update the storage to that gray green color that will blend in better. The castle is working at updating....this may be the one time that that silver monstrosity will work. Anyway it's a work in progress and may change without notice.
This is also where the Twiddle got stuck...he's now free to move about the island...lol
Any advise is welcome...at this point it's still up for grabs... :-*

Have fun building!
I do have one suggestion: those large ovals of light-colored tan below the Nursery and the Bredding thingie IMO detract from the overall color scheme, and worse, they tend to draw the eye to them because of their contrasting bright color, compared to restful blue-green else where. I coverd mine up with Puffle trees in front of them (which go well with predominantly pink and baby blue monsters I have front and center), but you could use any largish tree or even park a fat monster on them. Just one person's point of view ...

It looks great so far, I didn't use wild bagpipes on my water island (I didn't think they would work) I was soooo wrong! When I look at them on your island I imagine them blowing little air bubbles in the water and you're right, the reedlings will look great with them. Can't wait to see where you go with this. Also about the castle you are right, this is the island where it's colour looks the best, out of all the islands, but wouldn't it be great if it had some sort of mech island to call its own.

Thank you kiddos for your input. The bright objects are the ovens burning on the bakeries. I had trees in from of them, but it looked to crowded and hid the statues. I'm thinking of putting 4 shellbeats in the center of the ruins...we'll wait to see if they cover enough of it up or what I can stick in there to help. Thanks for pointing that out...I have a tendency to try and ignore those dang bakeries....on Air I only have 1 and it's really hidden lol
I'm all happy trying multiples of things, those water bird baths look just like disk coral when grouped (yeah) so I put some of them in too ...when I buy the Earth Island...I'm going to try and group those red drum horn things (forget what their called but cheap) and use them as a sort of bush as they match the color scheme. We'll see...may not work out..
Thanks again...

Okay! I think I've got it...well the idea anyway. I will have 4 Shellbeats facing inwards inside the ruins and have a Blabbet in the center....which they are spell guarding (holding captive under water?) to allow him to breathe. That's why he keeps spitting up bubbles. Another couple of Sharkies and one more Reedling and a Oaktapus.... I think I can make it work and still make some coins too! Thanks to Anna, for sparking the idea when we talked! Xxxx'ed fingers as we wait and see if it pans out.

Gettin' there! Might have a problem squeezing in 4 Shellbeats AND your much-coveted Blabbitt in there, but go for it!

I see what you mean Florida...I thought you were talking about the ovens, but you meant the ledges...right? I put some things to break it up...and the Shellbeats should do the rest. I'm sure someone will be happy sitting up there later...peeking out of the scenery. Better?

If There is a Babbitt, I can not see it. If, I had A BABBITT I would not have it hidden. Do you know what a Babbit is? The only Shellbeat is in the nursery. Do you know the names of the monsters? Very confusing? >???

You have to plan ahead in this game Try...there is no Blabbit yet, but there will be. And he's going on the ledge on your left because he sooo fat and he can spread out there. Jeeode will tuck in where my blue jell-o is now and in the center of the Clambeats will go the Amber Thing...then it will be pretty much done I think. (except for the forever and always tweaking...sigh...can't seem to let those islands alone for long can I?)
I was going for a living reef. Crowded with things growing on top one another, full of movement and life. I really don't know how all them Easter eggs and Tiki heads are going to look, but it should be fun! I didn't want to make paths, but little sparkles of light from above... added some interest I think....didn't want to over do it.
***I cut the bee on my desktop into the shot...lol...it looks like he's dive bombing the water for a tasty treat...he looks like a monster bee

This Island of yours getting very exciting.... But wait! Your Scuppie is in danger! Potbelly is sneaking closer and closer to have a bite!!! O_o (That bee looks more like a hornet trying to chase the monsties away from his nest... )
NewMexShell: January 21, 2014
Don't worry Monnie! The baby is bee bait.... >:(....Daddy Scuppie knows there's spares (for Blabbit breeding) in the mini hotel. Dastardly, but practical...

Ohhh, I like your circle of statues! Very clever. I think I need to add some pipes to mine, too; they really do look good!
