I'm going to huffy-puff a little bit. Can I huffy-puff a little bit? Pleeesseee! I write this without trying to rain to anybody's parade and without real anger, I'm just smell a little trouble, that's all. Here is the thing I'm very dissapointed about: There are 3 ways to obtain keys for our own game: 1. To buy them for a ridiculous price. 2. To receive them as gifts from friends. 3. To hunt down community codes on social websites, or "in-games???"... Basically, there is no way to obtain keys on the regular basis. I've read a few posts on FB, and there are a lots of people who are more private - they don't have friends in the game, and they just want to enjoy their own pace and time with the game - unless they are filthy rich and can throw away 5 bucks for ONE key to obtain ONE dipstick on PLANT island only, they are screwed. I'm not a social butterfly, I don't spend my time on FB, twitter... etc. to talk. I have you, guys, here - so there is no way I will go and search for community codes - I'm screwed. Unless, they are changing something about this, I'm not going to be a big fan of this latter update. I did some math, too... to have all 70 dipsters on all islands we need 1,050 keys... for a less than social person it means over $4,000 to get them, if they are buying the 5 pack key-deal... WHAAAAT? Since there is no real key coming from other sources on a regular basis, the time isn't even a factor here... if I don't receive a single key from any of you, or I don't find any community code, or I don't spend money, I ALWAYS have the first 3 keys, even after a 100 years. For me, this update is almost like ruining my fun, and forcing me to spend either precious time or precious money. Not kool. That said, I believe, they will make changes - they have to - about this. If not, I will just gift my 2 virtual keys/months to the winner of the quiz games. I love you guys, thank you for letting me to vent.

1luv, I've been wondering when someone would notice! Yes I'm naked because I'm on a nude beach. Can't you tell? I only took a head shot because I didn't want Rob's wife to leave him should she happen to see Rob ogling my picture had I shown the full monty (if women have monties, that is). So the way I see it, I saved Rob's marriage.
As for the dipsters, check the market on any of your natural islands. Scroll along in the monster category and they'll be there if you updated MSM to version 1.4.2. If not, they won't be there.

I copied/pasted this from facebook. They were calculating if you received 1 key a month from a player how long it would take to get them all: 8 years and 5 months, assuming you get exactly as many keys as you give out, to acquire all 7 dipsters on all 5 islands. Alternatively, you could buy the keys, for $410, and have a complete set right now. I'm not a fan. I think it is a money grub. What do I need more coin for anyways? I have over 500,000,000 and nothing to spend that on!!! I've been using a few billion to feed tribe isle...And don't get me started about moving the move to nursery button to a speed up with diamonds...how many just hit the button on reflex....

Well, for what it's worth since there seems to be little to no interest in the dipsters, at least I know something about how these stupid community codes work. Today around 3pm EDT/EST, when the 24 hour rare monster sale got reset, the first code was announced right as I opened my game. The 15 character alphanumeric code was shown, whereby I had to grab a pen and paper to write it down, then hurriedly enter it on the options page where the community code area is located. Naturally, others had beaten me to it and all 200 keys had already been claimed. I knew this because I got the 'invalid code' message. This is grossly misleading, as the "monster handlers" have been touting HIDDEN codes, making one believe that they're actually scrawled somewhere on one of the islands or spelled out somehow on their social pages. When I lost out on it, I closed my game and saw the same announcement on the MSM page along with the code. So unless you were sitting with your game or the website open, you lost out on getting the message. Now they're talking about having another code tomorrow. I'm assuming it'll be at the same time when the monster sale resets, but since it's a holiday weekend for Americans, a lot of us won't be thinking about it. I may or may not care enough to check in as I plan to be in my pool tomorrow.

Okay. I updated my iPad and now have the Dipsters. Kindle still has not gotten the latest update, so that game is still sitting out in the cold. Anyway, I've read the previous posts and still have questions.
I see the 3 keys on the top right of the screen, the Dipsters in my Monster market and the keys in the Currency market. If I want to put 1 Dippity Do on Plant, does it subtract it from the 3? Also, how exactly do I gift a key to a friend? Does it come from the 3 I started with too because I'm not seeing any way to do it via the Friend list? I'm going to wait until Lil Bee can update too and I know she's playing games on Kindle like me so it could be a week or so before we finally get the update. I'm just trying to get a handle on the gifting keys part ahead of time.

from what i understand firefly the key that you gift is a free key. not 1 of your 3. and if you buy dippity do it will cost you a key or keys depending on cost. my understanding is that each island the cost goes up 1 key. plant = 1 key cold = 2 keys air = 3 keys etc. hope this helps click on your 3 keys and it brings up another window which gives you option to gift key to friend.

You go to an island's market, and among "monsters" the dipsters are listed. Click on the one you like to buy. They don't take bed space in the castle, but they are feedable like real monsters, and they generate coins. Like with torches, you have an option to gift a key - not included in your inventory - to 1 friend/month. You click on the keys, it will bring up a dialog box, if you want to gift or buy keys. When you click on on "gift" a key, it will bring up your friends list and you can choose the one you want to gift - this key doesn't get subtracted from your inventory, but the gift key wouldn't be added to your inventory, either - you can only gift it, you cannot use it for yourself. Then a count down starts, showing you when you can gift an other key. We have a key exchange thread, if you'd like to participate in that.

Thank you smellnroses2 and moncsi for the more in-depth answers to my questions. I think I have the gist of it now. I'll be waiting to do anything with the keys, until I am able to update both of my games. I can't believe BBB released the first community codes without all platforms being able to participate. Either poor planning or they just don't care about Kindle players. I'm thinking about phasing my Kindle game out. Thanks again ladies. : )

I have a FB account but none on the rest of the social medias MSM is using for the community codes. I used Google to find it on Twitter from my PC today but there is a shortcut. If you catch it on the News in MSM, click on it. Then click Go Now! It will launch your browser and you can click on each of the social medias icons and it will take you there. The 4 today were Facebook, Twitter, YouTube & Vine. I clicked on each of the 4, well after the fact, and believe it or not, Facebook had Nope, Not Here, Twitter had it and gave the community code, Vine had Nope, Not Here and on YouTube there was just a game trailer. Below is a part of the browser page that shows each social media icon. Like I said, I just clicked on each one and it opened a new browser window to that social media. You don't need an account to any of them. Following them might not be as hard as we thought. It's going to be more about how often you catch one in time I think.

Diane Delsig's code that MSM gave her to use was down in a "reply" this morning. I tried what she said: dianedelsigkeys and it worked. I forgot about my 2nd account & just went to it a few minutes ago & her code still worked. Who is Diane Delsig?

Diane has been making YouTube vids of My Singing Monsters since it came out. I learned a lot from watching her videos when I first starting playing MSM. She was playing on mobile and I on PC but there weren't many differences between the two at that time. She has a fan following. I think it is way cool of Diane & BBB to give a community code of her very own . It's good until July 18th.
