Cross-stitch World is now available to download on Android devices (phone/tablet/BS)...

I just downloaded it, and enjoying to start it again - although the game keeps bugging me to link the account to my FB account - which I don't want to do for I would loose the startup money AND the possibility to replay the first 10 free layouts again.

As far as I can see, if the game is not linked to a FB account, there isn't a friend option.

If you're downloading the game through BS, and your computer is not a touch screen, you need to set your keyboard buttons to fulfill things like "swipe" and other navigational options, before you can play the game comfortably.

I'm enjoying to start over, and I haven't the tiniest intention to link it to FB.

I was happy to find this thread here, because this game has been my absolute favourite for the last month or so, when I first discovered it. I have it on Facebook, but don't have any friends playing it, so I don't know what difference friends make in this game?

I have searched through lots of pictures on Google, landscapes and such, and picked out a few that I think could make good patterns. These I have collected in a folder, and every day I go to that folder and pick one pattern. As far as I understand we can only make ONE of our own patterns every day?

Otherwise, I have done most every of the free patterns, (except those I don't like,) and also - unfortunately - have bought a few packages of patterns, since I simply couldn't get enough to do with only one individual pattern every day. But all in all, this is a wonderful game!!

annatar, I've sent you a pm, too, dear. LilB and I are friends in the game through FB, so we can send patterns for each other, which is the benefit of having friends in the game. You can have one gift pattern a day, too besides the one you're creating daily, so you can do 2 free patterns a day. Unfourtunately, the created and gifted patterns don't reward you too much - they give 13 cash and 20 xp points, only, but it is great to keep you in the game without spending serious real dough. The two free patterns plus the 25 daily cash-reward can grow your reserves by 51/day, which can take you further to have enough game money to buy a new pattern set. I'm so enjoying computer stitching, that I stopped my real life cross stitch project for now.

I'm still waiting for 1luv befriending me at FB... Love ya, girls! k07022
