I've been lurking around this forum for a month now and thought it's just plain rude that I haven't introduced myself properly, so here goes.
As you have already guessed I am another of those 'english gals', living in the part of the country between the beautiful Derbyshire Peak District and Nottingham's Sherwood Forest.
Iluv was right about my age as well, my body turned 60 last year but my mind is still trying to catch up and I don't think it ever will.
My family keep me young, I have 2 adult daughters, the eldest has just returned to uni to study to become a dietician so is sorting me out a healthy eating plan (if only I could stick to it) and the youngest has 2 boys of her own (12 and 10). The joy of having children around again encouraged us to become foster carers and we now have 2 gorgeous girls (13 and 9) in our lives.
I love MSM and began playing the BFG version 3 years ago, moving onto the app last year when I suffered withdrawal symptoms while on holiday. My other great loves are music (but not jazz) and reading. Thanks for the recommendations and I will be posting in that thread as soon as I get a spare minute.
Its great to have a place to chat with people with similar interests and I want to say a great big thank you to Monsci for setting this all up.

It's a small world, I went to a sprint meeting at Thoresby many moons ago and once was definitely enough. My significant other is also into motor sport but his passion is rally driving, especially closed road events in Ireland and on Mull.
