I originally started playing MSM on my phone but Moncilla's beauty shines so bright that staring at her is like staring at the sun...and well after 13 years, I'm pretty much blind as a bat so with my vision, using the app version just didn't work out too well. That being said, I was quite excited when BFG launched a PC version of MSM, but I think it's clear they no longer support the game and the app version just has so many cool new features.

this is Moncsi continuing this post, Eskimo's pc got pooped out suddenly...lol
Anyways, there is this application called "Blue Stacks" which is basically the android application on the computer. This blue stack has the android version of My Singing Monsters, with all the goodies comes with.
I've just downloaded it, I just started the game. I'm on level 7, and I'm enjoying the phone application on big screen... I cannot be happier. flowers-smiley-emoticon

OK...after a year with no new content from BigFish, it's definitely worthwhile to play the Android app version on your PC using BlueStacks. www.bluestacks.comI installed it for me and Moncsi, opened it up and installed the MSM app. We're playing, adding friends, starting to get to the point where we can get some of the updated monsters and stuff. Definitely recommend trying it out. |

running-around-smiley-emoticon YAY!!! Thanks you guys, I got it. It was so easy to download & install & it is free. I saw a review that had to pay $2.00 for it. I didn't pay one penny. Had to download blue stacks on tablet first then straight to PC. It looks like App screen,few keys differ but I LOVE it. Sooooo BIG. Do any of you know if you have to start your game over when you install Blue Stacks? Or can you just continue your old game using Blue Stacks?
After being ready for more than a year to breed the hoola, I'm seriously thinking of trying this out... happy-yes-smiley-emoticon

Howdy, Yep it started a new game for me, it asked if I wanted to enter new user or keep original, I kept it anonymous, I don't know why ::) anyway it didn't show my game in progress, started with tutorial and everything. I downloaded blue stacks on tablet then on PC, no problems or fees. I read one review where gamer was charged $2.00 for blue stacks App. Glad we weren't. two-thumbs-up-smiley-emoticon May consider asking the two giant capable big heads if you can bring your already in progress game over.  no-no-smiley-emoticon happy-yes-smiley-emoticon hell-no-smiley-emoticon happy-yes-smiley-emoticon EDIT: Oooops, just logged in, says WILL have to pay $2.00 to continue use. Here are the things I've learned/discovered so far about Blue Stacks and MSM through blue stacks.
I had the popup message about the monthly $2 OR keep trying out applications and it is free. I've purchased a $4.99 diamond package in the game to get the following advantages:
- I got a "special offer" to receive a double amount of any value package for purchase, so instead of the 105 diamonds I got 210.
- I wanted to have the extra large diamond mine, which gives 4 diamonds a day! 2 in every 12 hours.
- I wanted to have the extra breeder and nursery; if you go to my plant island, I have 2 of each
- I don't have popup advertisements anymore... if I want to earn a little free coins, I still have the option in the Market menu, but I don't automatically get them.
- I think, Blue Stacks app continues to be free for me, because I didn't get the pay the fee notice anymore.
I recommend to make a small purchase in the game, it can be as little as $.99, and you get all of the above.
If Blue Stacks will prompt me to pay the $2 fee, I would still gladly pay it, or just try out an other game - it seems there are a lots of interesting, good games are offered.
The torches: you can light 1 torch/person/24 hours
Likes: you can like ALL of the islands/person/24 hours - it means, that in a year you can collect 365 likes on ALL of your islands from just me!
To have existing game continued on Blue Stacks - I think you have to opt it... if I remember well, there is a log in page, and you can choose what game to log in... it makes me feel, that we can start different games, too, if we give an other login to game, but I'm not sure about this... I don't have a previous version to transfer. The PC game is still NOT compatible, but it is compatible for other platforms, like FB, phone, and tablet... maybe not with iPad, because Blue Stack is an Android application.
The only thing I know, that I'm happy as I can be for this option, and I enjoy playing MSM once again. bug-eyes-alien-smiley-emoticon

I started playing last Saturday  , in the middle of the afternoon... I quickly bred the monsters I needed to try to breed a rare toe jammer, and this morning was my only breeding attempt. I failed to get my first rare monster :-[ . |

I lost my message, anyway just want to Thank you Monci for sharing. I did just as you suggested & it worked, I selected MSM game without a charge. Just had to click the try again button. blushing-smiley-emoticon

michou3, I'm sorry, dear. I was lucky, I could try for it for the whole week (rares are usually available for a week), with 3 breeder, lol, and I still got only one, on Plant island. I even upgraded the breeder and nursery, which upgrade shortens the time needed by 25%, which means a t-rox takes 6 hours to breed, a bowgart 9, entbrat 18... With all the enhancement and with 4 lit torches, I got ONE...! lOlol @1luvgaming, I think now, that the 2 dollars fee is for ad-free playing... since I purchased that diamond pack, I don't get the 2 dollars fee prompt, nor advertisements in THIS game. I will try out other FTPs through blue stacks, seems quite a few good games are available... I'll report about them. Hurry guys to level 12, so you can buy the torches, and I can go and light them! Kiss :-*

@1luvgaming, dear... I think, you could lunch your tablet game through Blue Stacks, because there is a button on the login page of MSM says "Change User"... Now, I don't know what this button does, since I don't have any game played previously, but I think, you could log in with your tablet app game.  |

Yep you are correct, I clicked on it and changed my name from Anonymous to 1luvgaming but it showed up as Dee on friends screen which I am level 31. I have too many nicknames I can't remember which ones I assigned where. :-[ Still trying to change App/PC friends name, patience with me please.

That friends no is 17759146KK which i play on tablet. I invited myself & it worked but didn't receive diamond. Now I'm looking for thread to add that one but I don't need torches lit there because I have all the SMs.

Well, I bought a pack of coins today to buy air island. I had been waiting for the hoola for more than one year when I realized the PC version wasn't going to get it, so I decided to buy air island to get the hoola THIS year. I also noticed I would need to get the rare tweedle on air island, so I wanted to buy a pack of diamonds to buy the extra breeder and nursery (one breeder/nursery for the rare tweedle, the other breeder/nursery for the hoola). However, since I had just bought a pack of coins, the game refused the transaction for the pack of diamonds. I tried a few more times, but the transaction is still being refused...
Oh well, in the mean time, I have bought 5 torches for cold island, and 5 torches for air island. running-around-smiley-emoticon
